Ok, the thing is, me and my neighbour want to set up a wireless network together.
Now we both have an access point in our home. Mine is connected to a switch in wich all of my computers and my dsl modem are also plugged in. The access point also has a valid ip-adress in my network.
Now, my neighbour also has an access point in his to wich he connects with his wireless pci-card.
My question is, how do i setup the 2 ap's so my neighbours pc can be a part of my network?

you should have your neighbours access point setup for repearing mode to recieve and re-transmit your 802.11 signal and you may also need to add a stronger antenna to one or both of your access points depending on the distance between your access points

oke, thanks for replying.. works like a charm now, altough the signal is kind of weak. so.. next step is installing an antenna ;)

You might want to check with your DSL provider to see if they allow the type of 'sharing' you're trying to set-up.

You also might want to consider the unwanted side effect of "sharing" your DSL connection with other neighbors or someone driving down your street with the appropriately equiped laptop. It happens.
