Cisco AP4800 won't use WEP @ 5.5 or 11mbit

I have a Cisco AP4800 and it won't use WEP at above 2mbit. has anyone run into this?

So far i have loaded every firmware since 7 up to 8.8

has anyone seen this before?

The Aironet AP4800 stock from factory will only use WEP @ speeds up to 2mbit.

If you would like the unit to use WEP @ 11mbit you need to upgrade the radio card inside the AP.

upgrade with any 350 series by cisco
or the LMC cards will work also

Funny thing is I had purchased one a year ago and it had been upgraded. I wasn't aware of this :) So i was expecting the new ones to use WEP at 11mbits
