I have 2 PCs connected in an Ad Hoc network using 2 USB wireless LAN adapters. This is working fine for ICS but the transfer rate I get when copying files is very low (around 100Kbps or 12-13 kilobytes per second).
Both machines are running Windows XP and this cannot be a range or interference problem as I have tested these over a distance of just 1m! I have also tried using various channels, no encryption + TCP/IPX protocols to connect without any success.
If anyone can give me any suggestions as to how to increase the transfer rate I would be very grateful.
