Power to masses

Trying to get thru two floors with one AP and antenna. The problem is both horizonal and vertical.. Several vendors have submitted suggestions and after several site surveys we have gone to (name brand deleted ) to find the solution. As we have been told the cost gets prohibitive to put and AP in every room in the building. Any suggestions???

Well without a lot more info the only guess i could offer would be a 180 degree sector antenna on the floor of the bottom floor pointed up, but there is a lot of info missing, so it's a poor guess at best.

Post all the details like brand, model, output power in watts whats it is going through, distance, what it is connecting to their power and so on. Then maybe myself or someone else can help a bit more.
