Hi,

Thanks for your time.

The subject is as open as we can make it. The focus is to develop a global we-com virtual wallet application.

802.11 and Bluetooth appear to be the standards required to achieve this goal.

Please share your thought and encourage others to do the same. This choice will be as good as the input. So far it is very good!

Thank you,

E-T

PS: if you were part of the initial contributers at the Bluetooth.com forum please send a note.
Here are some thoughts http://www.palminfocenter.com/forum/search.asp just enter we-com virtual wallet in the search forum field

We're talking about wallets for electronic commerce, right? Is we-com just a catchy acronym (like m-commerce), or is it a product under development?

Ed:)

Ed, yes it is a descriptive acronym. It came about through the realization that "I" can not achieve this vision "WE" can. It also happens to fit with "wireless". A critical components of this project are people and technology. If the people do not want this it will not be.

This project is very public for such early development, however, felt the best solution would be had with as much input as possible. We do not want to own the market just to be part of many global choices.

What are your thoughts on this?

E-T :)

Wallets have been proposed for other platforms and met with little enthusiasm.

Ed, thanks for the heads up. We have a good people driven solution to completing the e-com circle. Some are interested in its development some are not. Who should we listen To? Were they as enthusiastic as us? Did they have passion? :)
