802.11b/g and bluetooth

Does any one know if blue tooth and 802.11b/g will operate on the same computer at the same time?

I don't know much about bluetooth, but it looks like it runs on the same 2.4ghtz band that b/g does. Any help would be apreciated.

Bluetooth as 802.11b/g operate in the same 2.4 Gh band and it is recommand to not have the twice operating in the same area. Bluetooth is going to produce much interference to your 802.11 devices. You are going to experience all band interference. Once you can use them alternately.

I agree with maraboutage....

Bluetooth hops across the whole 2.4 GHz ISM band...this can be bad news for 802.11 signals. Huge potential for all-band interference.

oh well, looks like I'll have to find another way to hook up a mouse to my laptop. I'm not giving up my 802.11.
