WPA on Linksys BEFW11S4

I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 V2/V3 WAP and Cable/DSL router, and I am hoping to upgrade this to support WPA. The Linksys website only mentions firmware upgrades with WPA support for B and G cards, and the G router.

Does anyone know if Linksys is planning to release firmware for the B router that will support WPA?

The other thing that crossed my mind is trying the G firmware with my B router. Has anyone tried this?

Linksys has been extremely lazy in offering WPA upgrades for their products. Most of the chipset providers has sent them WPA upgrades for their older products, but Linksys hasn't implemented them.
