Real quick simple home networking question. At my house I have

1 Desktop
2 Laptops (with wireless cards)
Cable Modem
D-Link 614 + Router
2 Printers

The laptop is connected directly two the printers and the router. The two laptops get their internet connections through the router. I want to set it up so that the desktop can share the printer and hard drive folders with the laptops. Can I do this with the equipment I have? Do you know any good tutorials to do this? I have tried the Microsoft Wizard but it did not work. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks in advance

First I hope you have MS XP on all the machines. The wizards are confusing so you have to look first at the laptop with the two printers to insure you are sharing the folders and printers. Lots of right click sharing tabs to find. Right click on the two printers and look at sharing tab on each one . ALso restarts help to get the network to see the changes.
Then look at the other computers My Network Neighborhood , other places tab, printers and fax tab.
Some help at Microsoft.com on sharing.
I spent a lot of time running between machines but it works great now

Good luck:)
