does anyone know of any software that will show you the A.P I.P. address, I have lots of sniffer software that shows known SSID's, then known Mac addresses of the A.P's, but i want to know the I.P addresses so I can telnet configure them.
Thanks,
Tony.

Cisco has a utility that comes with their APs that allows you to enter the MAC address of the AP and it returns the IP address (I believe through reverse ARP).

That feature is not provided by rarp in this case. Aironet extensions to the 11b standard will communicate, among other things, the AP IP address to the client.
This requires, of course, Cisco APs and clients, and having the Aironet extensions turned on.
