Does anyone have or know of a source of current/past market size data and forecasts for anything related to 802.11x? I'm particularly interested in forecasts for the growth of the number of users, number of subscribers to 802.11 services, and number of access points/hot spots - stuff along these lines.
There is one article at this site which cites an IDC forecast of 40,000 hot spots by 2007, but this is actually not in any IDC reports which are out right now (I checked with IDC). But, this is exactly the type of information I'm looking for.
