I am attempting to start up a small wifi network in my city. We know basically how we are going to set it up but we have one problem. Every ISP provider is charging over $300. This is for a T1 connection. I know i will need atleast enough bandwidth for 30 or so users, but do i need a T1 or can we go with some other connection. What are other small wi fi networks running off of and how are they paying for it. Thanks for your help.
