Hope they didnt make the test too easy though. http://www.cwne.com/cwna/exam_objective_changes.html Thanks for pointing that out. I just received the second edition of the book with the voucher and practice tests last week. I plan on sitting the exam at the end of the month. I read the ver1 book last fall when it was available for $19 bucks then. I did ask them if the current book and exam were updated before I purchaed the update and they said it was. So, this is a little confusing to me. The book and practice questions in the book still cover all that old stuff. So, in regards to the link you listed does anyone know when that went into affect? Did these changes go into affect after the version 2 book was shipped? Thanks... MaxProphet 07-11-2003, 01:36 PM Too easy? I took this test when it first became available and I have to admit it was practically the EASIEST IT certification I have ever completed. The thing is damn near laughable - I look forward to trying something a little more heavy duty from Cisco. Hopefully they will get things better on the CWNI. -Kevin Rosenjack lwheeler 07-11-2003, 02:19 PM Have you tried the CWSP yet? jsicuran 07-12-2003, 12:25 PM Having been around the tech industry for almost 20 years I thought the CCNA was the easiest cert. I hold cne, oracle, cnx, cisco ccnp/dp working on ccie lab and had many others and one thing I learned in this industry regardless of attaining a cert is to learn your topic well, in and out, and also learn what to study and what not to. That is why when Aiakos posted that link I was a little confused. I mean who wants to spend time studying open air or bluetooth if it is not going to be tested on or not really encounter in the field. One example I remember back in 1992 that was all the rave was MS Lan Manager. If you knew it and had the cert you were different than all the CNEs. I had my CNE since 1990 but looked at the Lan Man and knew based on clients and industry trends that is would just die. It did and I am glad I did not spend the time studying and learning it. Time that would be well spent on other technologies. Oh well, parts of Lan Man got included into windows 95/NT so it lived several years later after all. I am new to wireless(one year practical experience) and I did read the v1 book last fall. I just want to make sure that the topics I cover are relevant. Thanks for the posts. Thanks in advance for your reponse. jatkins679 07-13-2003, 12:20 PM Originally posted by TornariTech Is the study guide for exam pwo-100 the current study guide for the CWNA certification. If you carefully read the material on the link as originally posted, you'll see that every numbered point ultimately conveys (although a little bit convolutedly) that questions have been culled or questions have been made objectively easier to answer. If you have purchased the study guide within the last year or so, you'll be fine. wi-fiplanet.com
