Check this out, new "service" from Speakeasy ISP, neat way to lower your ISP bill and get your neighbors on your WLAN. Not sure if this is all that great, a custom Linux script or portal (like nocat.net) to block access or limit access would be better, they only provide you with credit card processing, and you get 50% of it applied towards your Speakeasy bill. You might be better off using a PayPal billing solution (like I do) and re-generating WEP keys bi-weekly along with MAC filtering and Squid proxy auth.

{New Service - NetShare(tm) Wi-Fi}

I'm pleased to announce our new NetShare(tm) Wi-Fi service.
Netshare allows you to leverage the power of our Operational
Service System (OSS) and extend/share your broadband connection
to others via Wi-Fi. In short, this service allows you to set up
a billing profile and select a subscription amount for your
"wireless zone" and creates a billing relationship between the
users in the zone and Speakeasy. We will then automatically
credit your Speakeasy broadband account for 50% of the collected
subscription fees in your zone.

As part of this service, people using your zone will get
Speakeasy services traditionally included with a broadband
connection, such as email (POP3, IMAP, Web-based), domain and web
hosting, anti-spam/anti-virus, music and gaming services. This
service is available now to all Speakeasy customers at no extra
charge. Check it out at http://netshare.speakeasy.net/admin! If
you have feedback on this service or an interest in partnering
with Speakeasy to leverage the power of Broadband connectivity to
Wi-Fi hotspots please email netshare@speakeasy.net.
