Hi all,

About 3 months ago I posted a post here asking for recommendations on a good Wi-Fi book that covered the general Wireless market and which, hopefully, not only included 802.X but also stuff like 3G/4G, WCDMA, UTMS, etc, etc..

At the time the general consensus was that most of the books currently available were pretty dated or simply not good enough in technical information, too complicated, not complicated enough, etc..

However, some of you said that some new books were in the pipeline, or that some of the out-dated 'good' ones were in the process of being updated and soon to be re-published, so...

Are any of these 'new' books out yet? Can anyone recommend a book that mentions all or some of the above and which is more or less current?

I would be grateful for any info.

Thanks,

T.

I think the problem is that there really isn't an up-to-date book that covers everything you're looking for. There are some books in the pipeline. In fact, the third edition of my Wireless LANs book will be done around the end of the year.
