IS 802.11b std accepted by all countries? Are there exceptions and where can I find this info?

Nearly all countries accept the 802.11b standard, but frequency channels may differ. For example, the U.S. accepts frequency channels 1-11, the UK channels 1-13, and Japan 1-14. Some countries accept more channels, some less.
