I got myself some wireless routers that i would like to test. im intersted in software that may give me detailed information about the signal and distance from the AP if at all possible. What kind of software or equipment do most people in the industry use? are there any freeware/demoware that i can use. im only a student and dont have the $$$ to buy an expensive fluke machine or things like it.
