Lucent Orinoco WaveLAN Ethernet Converter Issues

Hello all, the Lucent Orinoco WaveLAN Ethernet Converter that I just purchased doesn't seem to work with a specific network name/SSID from an AP - it only works when you set the SSID on "Any". If anyone could assist me in configuring the Converter to my wireless network AP's SSID, it would be greatly appreciated.
