802.11e

Recently saw mention of a proposed wireless QOS standard called 802.11e but can't seem to find any information about this.

Anyone familiar with this standard that can describe it and provide current status?

The 802.11e standard is not yet ratified, therefore public information is not available. It will give priority to certain types of packets, i.e. audio or video, but the specifics are not known at this time. For information on the status of 802.11e, visit
