JimGeier 04-21-2003, 11:01 AM There are already many USB interface WLAN client devices. We've found products from 3Com, Avaya, Buffa******, Compaq, D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, Proxim, Raylink, SMC, and YDI. Phoenix 04-21-2003, 11:15 AM The data rate of 802.11a and 802.11g are above the 12Mbps limit of standard USB, so no there aren't any. Maybe in the future you'll see USB 2.0 versions though, since USB 2.0 has a 480Mbps data rate. NewBWiFiGuy 05-08-2003, 02:32 AM You might be better off using a USB to ethernet adaptor since it will give you more flexibility in chosing your client device. Although I wouldn't waste my time until USB2.0 ethernet adaptors come out. It's still much faster to use a dedicated ethernet card. If your looking for ease of install then as he said, wait for a usb2.0 client device. USB1.1 stinks, in reality a usb ethernet adaptor is lucky to break 5mbit if that. wi-fiplanet.com
