Requirement:
This position is responsible for designing/managing wireless networks, overseeing the implementation of new wireless technologies, including proper system testing, implementation, and coordinate project installations. Responsible for system planning on upgrades, additions, and growth of network elements for all WLAN data products including Access-Point, VPN, 802.11x, & WLAN Gateways.
Will act as the technical liaison for the vendors. Develop capacity relief, sizing and timing criteria for each WLAN element to identify critical provisioning triggers for the network elements for all WLAN products. Assist in the development of yearly budgets and project requirements for wireless data & related network elements and resources. Prepare and plan live migrations. Ensures Corporate WLAN network security standards are followed and implemented at all times.
Required Skills:
Bachelor degree from an accredited college in IT discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of related experience with Masters Degree. 3+ years of proven experience in the development and provisioning of wireless data technologies. 3+ years of proven experience of LAN/WLAN Network Switch, Router, and Access-Point Operating Systems. 2+ years of demonstrated LAN and WLAN system testing and problem analysis methodologies. 1+ years of demonstrated effective project management skills. Knowledge of Network Analysis Tools. 2+ years of proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals is required. Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. Strong understanding of network capacity planning.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of related experience with Masters degree.
