I have a Symbol(Spectrum24) AP-3020 Access Point! I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get a Cisco 340 Series PCMCIA LAN adapter to work with it?? Or if it is even possible to get these 2 to talk!!! Anyone!!!!!!:mad:

Anyone!!!!!!:mad: tjphill 05-14-2002, 12:47 PM I don't think that they will actually talk. The Symbol AP 3020 series is 802.11 FHSS. The Cisco PCM340 is 802.11 DSSS. I have never played with the Symbol Access Point. The maximum data rate of the 3020 is 2mb. You should check with Symbol support to see if it is upgradeable. cea020 05-14-2002, 10:34 PM Thanks for the reply. I found out that the Synbol is 802.11 and the Cisco card is 802.11b.
