Hello everyone, i have cisco 1242 acces point that i want to use but i can't because i canot connect to it with my lan cable.
I dont have com port on my computer thats why this is my only options..

i configured my tcp/ip portocol like this:

IP: 192.168.0.100
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.0.100 (like the ip)..

This worked with my other cisco access point (1131 series)

First i hard reseteted the ap than I connected my computer with the cisco router over the lan and my pc said im connected..

I tryed to find the routers ip by using the Cisco's ip searching program (ipsu) by typing the router's mac address but it coudn't do it

I found it after all using (arp -a) command in cmd prompt.. it said the ip of the router is 192.168.0.22, so i tryed to connect with both my browsers (IE & Firefox) but i couldnt make it

I dont know where im doing it wrong so if someone knows pls tell me...

Btw after staying connect like 10-15 seconds the lights of the ap start to blink one after another untill i plug the power cable off..
Don't know what that means

Thanks in advance and sorry if there are many typing errors
