Child wireless monitoring

I would like to be able to monitor my childs wireless usage at home, is there a suitable program that will be able to detect wifi activity but does not need a switch to be installed?

Some routers will keep logs of sites visited and even block certain sites but I use untangle.com installed on a PC on my home network.

It's free and can block certain types of sites, filters spam, spyware, phishing, and viruses before they get to any PC on the network.
