Hi all,
I'm trying to help a friend setup a wifi hotspot for a cafe he is opening soon. He wants to provide free wifi, but I told him he should probably have some sort of password protection to keep nearby folks from stealing his bandwidth.
What is the best option for this? set up encryption and give the code out with purchase reciepts (and change it every once in a while)?
I was thinking a better option might be to have some sort of landing page that a user would have to get past to access the internet (also with a frequently changing password) because then the user doesn't have to fiddle with radio connection security settings.
Does anyone know how to set up a landing page for a router? The solution needs to be something that he can easily maintain after initial setup.
Thanks!
